Club News week commencing March 4th 2019

Our U21 hurlers joined with Fedamore played round three in Caherelly on Saturday last against Pallasgreen. The conditions were breezy and damp but Bally were quickly into their stride with scores from Darragh O Keefe, Michael Martin  and Daniel Owens. We continued on top with further points from Owens and Martin a point form range for Niall Mitchell and an excellent strike form an acute angle by Cillian O Brian. We were firmly in control of the game and led at half time 0-13 to 0-2. The second period was much of the same with Gearoid Mitchell, Ryan Hickey keeping the score board ticking  and Daniel Owens converting the frees we finished up winners 0-20 to 1-06. A good display for our lads in a were we conceded no score from play in a physical contest next up is the much stiffer task of Murroe Boher in two weeks’ time. Team from Dylan Daly Conway, Jack Owens, Eoin Klosse, Adam MaCarthy, Darragh O Keeffe 0-1, Pat Byrnes, Colin Haigney, Cian Enright, Gearoid Mitchell 0-2, Niall Mitchell 0-1, Cillin O Brien 0-1, Michael Martin 0-2, Eoghan O Neill, Colm O Riordan, Dan Owens 0-12 (8fs, 1 65) Ryan Hickey 0-1, Cillian McCarthy and Darragh Hogan Thomas Moyles.
