U21s: Ballybricken/Bohermore/Fedamore played round two of the east U21 championship in Caherelly on Saturday last losing out to Cappamore by three points. In slow conditions we had a slight breeze in our favour and got off to a bright start with points from Daniel Owens. We struck for a goal midway through the first half after good build up play from Darragh O Keefe who played a ball in to Daniel Owens who slipped his marker and coolly finished to the net. Our opponents finished the half strongly and led at half-time by a point, we again started the half brightly with good work around the middle third leading to scores from dead balls from Daniel Owens and an excellent point from Eoghan O Neill. The game continued to be very even with both free takers giving an excellent display in placed ball shooting regrettably in the final quarter we were outscored 0-5 to 0-1 which was the decisive factor as Cappamore ran out winners 0-17 to 1-11.Team from :Dylan Daly Conway, Jack Owens, Eoin Klosse, Darragh O Keeffe, Pat Byrnes, Colin Haigney, Cian Enright, Gearoid Mitchell, Niall Mitchell, Cillin O Brien, Michael Martin, Eoghan O Neill 0-1, Colm O Riordan, Dan Owens 1-10 (6fs, 1 65) Ryan Hickey, Cillian McCarthy and Darragh Hogan.
