Junior A: On 6/7/2018 Ballybricken/Bohermore Junior As travelled to Cappamore to play Doon in the last round  of the Junior A hurling championship.  From a Bally perspective this proved to be a good display in what was a well contested game. Bally scored the first point, but Doon replied with a goal and a point. Bally responded immediately with a Conal Ryan goal, quickly followed with one from Denis Stack, and, at the end of the first quarter Bally led 2-3 to 1-2. Bally continued to dominate throughout the first half, and despite good Doon pressure, our work rate was very high and we outscored Doon by 2-1 to 0-4 to go in at half time leading 4-4 to 1-6. In the 3rd quarter we again dominated the scoring, and we limited Doon to 4 points while we scored 1-4 . The match continued in the same vein, and while Doon applied serious pressure, our defense held tight, and with Shane O Neill making some wonderful saves, we limited Doon to 2 points in the final quarter with the final score being Ballybricken/Bohermore 5-11 Doon 1-12.Team lined out as follows:  1.
