Junior A: On 16/6/2018 Ballybricken/Bohermore Junior As travelled to Boher  to play Caherline  in the East Junior A hurling championship.  Caherline started the better and scored two quick points before Bally got off the mark leaving us trailing 0-3 to 0-1 after the first quarter with all scores coming from frees.  The second quarter was much the same as the first, with scores hard to come by in the damp and windy conditions we trailed at half time 0-6 to 0-3 . In the second half Ballybricken/Bohermore upped their performance and got some fine points including two from Danny Maguire, we later conceded a goal to trail by 3 goal going into the final quarter. In the closing period both teams exchanged points before a speculative John Stack delivery was flicked to the net leaving the teams level with five mins remaining. At this point Bally really upped their efforts and scored  three more points to finish winners by 1-12 to 1-09.Team lined out as follows:  1. Shane O Neill, 2. Seán Browne, 3. Eoin Lyons , 4. Club Notice and Fixtures: Well done to clubmen Patrick Byrnes and Michael Martin who were togged out in Ennis for Limericks minor panel that got an all-important away win against Clare last Sunday with Michael coming on as a second half substitute. They have now reached the munster final against Tipperary on July 1st which will precede the senior final. Well done also to Caherelly representative Shane Heffernan who lined out in the primary school match in Ennis during the half time interval. Lotto result 8 14 25 29 no winner Lucy dip Flan O Neill Snr, John & Denis c/o Swans, Ailish O'Neil  Mairead Scanlon. Next draw 25th June at Club house jackpot €3,100. Upcoming fixture junior A hurling v Kilteely Friday night in Caherconlish @7.15pm.  We are also out in Junior B championship hurling the following night away to Cappamore at 5pm please see club text for confirmation of exact fixtures. Best wishes to Geraoid Mitchell and Enda Frawley who picked up injuries on Saturday in our championship match we wish them a speedy recovery.
