Club News week commencing June 12th 2018


Junior A: On 9/6/2018 Ballybricken/Bohermore Junior As travelled to Cappamore to play Murroe/Boher in the East Junior A hurling Championship.  From a Bally perspective this proved to be a good display in what was a well contested game. Murroe/Boher were first off the mark with a quick fire goal, but Bally settled well and responded with 3 quick goals, leading after the first quarter, 3-3 to 1-0.  In the second quarter we allowed Murroe/Boher back into the game, with them scoring 1-2 before we regained our composure to score 4 points, going into half-time leading 3-7 to 2-2. We maintained control throughout the second half and scored a further 1-9 to end the game winning on a final score line of Ballybricken/Bohermore 4-16, Murroe/Boher 2-6.

Club Fixtures and Notices: The Junior A championship continues this weekend with Caherconlish the opponents please see Limerick Leader and club text for exact fixture. Limerick minors had their first defeat of the championship season against Waterford last weekend with Patrick Byrnes and Michael Martin from Bally on the panel, Michael came off the bench and got on the scoreboard with a  point but Limerick lost out to too late goals from an impressive Waterford team.
