JUNIOR FOOTBALL: Bally played Cappamore in the Junior A league in caherelly last Monday evening with a draw the final result. In excellent conditions for football we started sluggishly conceding three first half goals leaving us trailing at half-time 3-3 to 0-4. For the third game running our second half performance was more aggressive and energetic led by a tigerish defence, the Mitchell brothers around the middle and the Cross brothers up front we slowly clawed our way back into the game. We reduced the deficit to four points in the middle of the half and soon after got a well worked goal coming from Jack Cross, we traded a couple more scores each before Conor McCarthy scored an injury time equalising free to leave the final score Bally 1-13 to Cappamore 3-7. This leaves both teams with Knockane to play to decide who reaches the League final v Oola. Team from Dylan Conway, Mark O Dea, Shane O Neill, Barry Laffan, Daniel Maguire, Paul Martin, Alan O Riordan, Gearoid Mitchell, David Ryan, J Cross, Niall Mitchell, Conor McCarthy, Jack Cross, Colm Teefy, Tommy Carroll, Jamie O Donoughe, Joseph Teefy, Larry Browne.
