Junior B Hurling: Bally played Fedamore last Tuesday night in the junior B East hurling league winning out on by 1-16 to 2-12. We were slow to start in this match with possession being turned over on regular occasions and conceded two goals to leave trailing by 2 points at half time. After the break we got on top and excellent scores from Daniel Owens and Conal Ryan brought us into contention and soon after a Dylan Conway goal left us winning out by a point. This was an excellent effort from the team and selectors and a positive step before championship in the next few weeks. Team from Joseph Teefy, Larry Browne, Eoin Lyons, Jack Owens, Hugh Leonard, Sean Browne, Eoghan O Neil, Matt Mitchell, David Ryan, Daniel Owens, Enda Frawley, Niall Mitchell, Shane O Neill, Conal Ryan, Danny Garry, Tommy Carroll, Barry Laffan, Dylan Conway, Cilin O Brien, Jamie O Donoghue.

Junior Football: Last Thursday we played Fedamore once again away from home and continued our excellent form in the East football league recording a comfortable double digit win. In a slow start we led 1-5 to 0-2 at half time after missing a number of scoreable opportunities. In the second half we improved our accuracy and produced a glut of goals for BB with the Cross Brothers, Conor McCarthy by 2, the returning Gearoid Mitchell and with his first touch the ageless Joseph Teefy all finding the back of the net. This left us running out winners by 21 points after an excellent team performance and with two fixtures remaining there is work still to be done to qualify for the league final.
