Junior A: On 15/4/2018, Ballybricken/Bohermore Junior As travelled to Caherconlish to take on Caherline in the EJAHL.  This proved to be a good display in what was a well contested game.  Playing with a strong breeze, Bally started well and, with both teams settling well scores were hard earned, and after the 1st quarter, Bally trailed by 0-4 to 0-5. Bally began to exert pressure in the 2nd Quarter, and aided by a strong breeze combined with 2 goals from Conor Grene and Daniel Owens, Bally led at half time 2-7 to 0-6. In the second half, Caherline started the stronger scoring 2 quick points, but a Conor McCarthy free and an excellent Daniel Owens goal settled Bally and while the second half was a much tighter affair, Bally prevailed and won the game, Final score: Ballybricken/Bohermore 3-11, Caherline 0-13 Team lined out as follows:  1. Junior B:Ballybricken/Bohermore played south liberties in junior B hurling east league losing out 3-12 to 2-07. Playing against a strong opposition Bally battled hard and led at Half time 1-7 to 0-6. We lost out at full time 3-12 to 2-7 it was a good effort by the team and hurley makers were delighted to see the return of Eoin Frawley to playing action .Team, Shane o Neill, Adam Mccarthy, Joseph Teefy, Jack Owens, Hugh  Leonard, Eoin Lyons, Eoin Kloss, Matt Mitchell 0-1, David Ryan, Daniel McGuire 0-1, Enda Frawley, John Casey, Eoghan o Neill, Conal Ryan, Dylan Conway 1-0, Dan Owens 1-05, Sean Browne, Enda o Callaghan, Eoin Frawley, Barry Laffan, David o Neill.

Minors: Kilpeacon minors made up of Ballybricken/Bohermore, Fedamore and Crecora beat Pallasgreen in minor football Friday night last. Played in Caherelly we led 3-5 to 0-3 at half time after playing with a breeze and taking some excellent scores including a well converted Jack Cross goal and a point form Michael Martin. A couple of early goals in the second half put the result in no doubt with Kilpeacon winning 6-7 to 1-13. Next round is now not until July. Players from Bally on the day were Patrick Byrnes, Daniel Owens, Jack Cross, Michael Martin and Colm O Riordan.

Con and Annie Kirby Memorial Puppy stake 2018: Our dog Lemon Shane is through to the final of the Annie Kirby Memorial Puppy stake 2018 which will take place in the Limerick greyhound stadium this Saturday April 21st. Please come along to support 'Lemon Shane' in what is a family friendly night out (kids go free) and don’t forget to wear our club colors all support next Saturday greatly appreciated. In the running event Matt Mitchell came a creditable fifth representing the club.

Death Notice: The death has occurred of Donal Kirby late of Ballybricken, Donie  played for many years here in Ballybricken before moving to Easkey, CO Sligo where he was very involved with the GAA club there. The club  would like to extend its sympathy to his wife and family,  his sister Mary Barry and to all the Kirby families.  May he rest in peace
