U21s: Ballybricken/Bohermore defeated Pallasgreen last Saturday in the U21 A hurling championship final winning out on a score line of 2-09 to 0-4. Played in Cappamore in cool conditions we had three different scorers early on with Daniel Owens, Conor McCarthy and Conal Ryan converting points from play to help settle the team. We continued on top with hard work and commitment shown through-out the field a goal late in the half by Gearoid Mitchell left us in the driving seat at half-time leading 1-6 to 0-2. Pallas threw everything at us after the break but we battled hard around the middle third and kept the score board ticking with three points from Mcarthy and a goal with his first touch from Cross. We ran out comfortable winners in the end by 11 points, special mention to the back nine who kept our opponents to two points in each half. Well done to management and all involved we are now qualified for a county semi final against the winners of city division.
