U21S: Ballybricken/Bohermore qualified for the east hurling final with a comprehensive win against Kilteely Dromken on Saturday last winning by 2-17 to 1-5. Played in Kilteely with the wind at our backs Bally started brightly with two frees from Conor McCarthy and a point from the impressive Daniel Owens. We were level soon after with a goal for Kilteely, but Bally struck back with a goal of their own with Gearoid Mitchel getting the final touch. Bally pushed on from this and scored 1-8 without reply with an excellent run and finish from Daniel Owens the highlight leaving the half time score 2-11 to a goal in our favour. Scores were harder to come by in the second half but Conor McCarthy with four and a point each from Danny Owens and Owen O Neil left us running out comfortable winners.
