U21 Hurlers finish league campaign with flourish!!

U21 Hurlers  had their final match in the 13 a-side league competition against Fedamore in Caherelly on Sunday last. Bally got off to a great start with goals from John Casey and Conal Ryan. Daniel McGuire, Richard Coughlan added points leaving  the half time score 3-4 to 1-4 in Bally’s favor. Richard Coughlan’s fine form continued in the second half converting placed balls and points from play and increased the margin between the sides. However Fedamore didn’t lie down and our backs defended superbly with Alan O’Riordan, John Stack and Kevin Blackwell leading by example and goalie John O’Dea denied Fedamore a goal with an excellent reflex save.  John Casey bagged his 3rd goal when he finished off  a deflected strike from Conal Ryan which left a healthy margin between the sides midway through the half.  Daniel McGuire continued hard work in mid field combined with excellent defensive play from our backs aided by Christopher Coughlan and David Ryan held Fedamore’s score tally to 3 points in the second half. Adrian Lennon and David Tynan also worked tirelessly upfront putting in excellent performances and creating a number of scoring opportunities. In the end Bally came away comfortable winners with 4-10 to 1-7 final score.
